How to Use the Center


Kawagoe International Center is located on the fifth floor of Klasse Kawagoe, a complex close to the East Exit of Kawagoe Station.

- Center Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Closed: Tuesdays (the following day when Tuesday falls on a national holiday) and during the New Year’s holidays (December 29 to January 3).

Guidelines
Please observe the following guidelines when using Kawagoe International Center.
1. The Study and Training Room is mainly designed for official business use, but international exchange or international cooperative groups whose principal base of activity is in Kawagoe City may reserve this space by filing an application one month in advance of intended use. Please contact the center for details.
2. When using the Internet terminals, please observe the additional guidelines.
3. For the Message Board and bulletin boards, please observe the additional guidelines.
4. The Workroom is available for use by international exchange or international cooperative groups whose principal base of activity is in Kawagoe City. When using this room, please observe the additional guidelines.
5. Eating and smoking are not permitted on the premises.
6. Selling of goods, photography, recording and other activities are prohibited on the premises without prior approval.
7. Please carry home any trash and other personal items.
8. You must finish your activities, clean up the area and leave the center by closing time (9:30 p.m.).
9. Please follow the requests and instructions of the center’s personnel on these and all other matters.

This room is used for various courses, Japanese language classes and other learning programs sponsored by Kawagoe City.

[Internet Corner]
This area is equipped with five personal computers, enabling visitors to access information over the Internet free of charge. Requests to use these PCs should be made at the Reception Desk.

[Consultation Room for Foreign Residents]
This office offers consultation services on legal affairs, notary public consultation, general consultation and other areas free of charge. Counseling in different languages is available through the services of volunteer interpreters.
